Thiruvananthapuram: CPM politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that moves to create trouble in Sabarimala are carried out intentionally and the temple remains peaceful at present. He said this while inaugurating the 63rd state conference of the Association of Kerala Government College Teachers (AKGCTA) here.

The chief minister had made it clear that even if the supreme court constitution bench pronounced a verdict on Sabarimala issue, further action will be taken only after discussing the matter with others. This is LDF’s stand on the issue, Kodiyeri said.

The BJP and Congress, which welcomed the court verdict first, changed their stance later in order to attack the state government. NSS has the same stand always and they are not opportunists. They have the right to express their opinion, Kodiyeri added.
