Pulse polio immunization postponed in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has postponed the pulse polio immunization programme for children below 5 years. Health minister KK Shailaja informed that the revised date will be given out later.

Earlier, the polio immunization programme was scheduled on January 17 in Kerala.

The decision was taken after the union health ministry directed to cancel the polio immunization in view of COVID vaccination drive.
