Kochi: In light of the High Court's decision to uphold the single bench order cancelling the KEAM rank list, the government has decided not to file an appeal in a higher court. Higher Education Minister R Bindu announced that the revised rank list, based on the original formula, will be published today.

"The government introduced an alternative method to ensure equal justice for all students. However, the court concluded that making changes after the prospectus had come into effect was not appropriate," the minister said. She added that the government does have the authority to amend the prospectus at any time.

It was also announced that the B.Tech admission process would be completed by 14 August. In order to adhere to this timeline, the government will not pursue further legal action, the minister confirmed.
