Kannur airport will soon have e-visa facility

Mattannur: Kannur International Airport will soon have e-visa facility. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) passed an order including Kannur in the list of Integrated Check Posts (ICP). 

A special counter had been set up in the terminal building of Kannur airport around two years back for people arriving through e-visa. 

Once the emigration department appoints officials and completes the procedures, passengers can arrive at Kannur airport through e-visa. 

Foreigners and tourists can stay in the country for a limited period by availing the e-visa facility. People from 156 countries can arrive in India through e-visa.
