Understanding between CPM, PFI in Abhimanyu Case: K Surendran

Thiruvananthapuram: In the wake of the important documents pertaining to the Abhimanyu murder case going missing, BJP State President K Surendran accused the ruling party of helping the murderers get away in the case. He alleged that the CPM and the Popular Front of India (PFI) have a strong understanding with each other. He also said that some of the accused in the case also have connections with them.
He also held the nexus between the CPM and PFI is responsible for the missing documents pertaining to the Abhimanyu murder case ahead of the trial. He also alleged that the police along with the CPM had helped the key accused in the case to escape.
“It is the CPM top leaders who are trying to upset the trial by destroying the evidence,” he alleged.
The BJP leader also demanded that the Chief Minister, who is handling the Home Ministry, should tell as to how the important papers in the case went missing and what was found in the police investigation.
