'Jai Indian Army', Babu cheers for his saviours

Palakkad: Even as Babu had a tiring ordeal of entrapment at Cheradu hills of Palakkad, the 23-year-old man's resilience stands out. After getting rescued and reaching the top of the hill, Babu cheered for the army personnel and hugged the rescue team members. Babu also kissed the three army men who lifted him from the crevice. Videos of these happy moments are trending on social media.

Many feared that his health condition might have deteriorated as he was starving for almost three days after the media reported the incident. The altitude at which he was entrapped was also a concern as the pressure and temperature can affect health conditions. However, sources close to the rescue team revealed that he is only slightly weak and suffered a leg injury. He reportedly was not showing any signs of stress or health issues.

However, fresh reports on his health condition are awaited.
