Fishermen and coastal residents are advised to exercise extreme caution:
Due to the likelihood of severe sea disturbance, it is advised to stay away from hazardous areas as per the authorities' instructions.
Small boats and vessels should not be launched into the sea at this time.
It is dangerous to send fishing vessels into the sea during phases when the coastal phenomenon and high waves are expected.
All activities, including tourism focused on beaches, should be completely avoided until the INCOIS warning is lifted.
Fishing vessels (boats, canoes, etc.) should be securely tied up in the harbor. Maintaining a safe distance between vessels can prevent collisions.
All travel to beaches and recreational activities in the sea should be completely avoided.
Due to the potential for coastal erosion, special vigilance should be maintained.
