Goa Governor Sreedharan Pillai visits Panakkad Tharavad

Malappuram: Goa Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai visited Panakkad Darunnaim to express his condolences on the death of Sayed Hyderali Shihab Thangal, the patron of IUML.

He met Sadiqali Shihab Thangal, brother of Hyderali and the present IUML state president at around 10.45 in the morning on Friday. IUML national general secretary PK Kunhalikutty, Hyderali's son Mueen Ali Shihab Thangal and Malappuram MLA P Ubaidulla were also present.

Pillai said that he had a good relationship with the Thangal family despite political differences. He hailed the family for their effort in maintaining communal harmony. He added that he has a good relationship with Sadiqali Thangal as well.
