Former Kerala Minister P Cyriac John no more

Kozhikode: Former state minister and Congress leader P Cyriac John passed away on Thursday. He was 91. 

He served as agriculture minister in the state cabinet of K. Karunakaran from 1982 to 1983. He was elected to the fourth Kerala Legislative Assembly from Kalpetta constituency as a Congress (R) member. Later, he won from the Thiruvambadi constituency thrice as a Congress candidate.

He also served as President of Thamarassery Service Cooperative Bank, President of Kerala State Cooperative Marketing Federation Ltd and member of the Indian Rubber Board. 

He was also a KPCC Executive Member and the former state president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Wife: Annakutty. Children: P.C. Babu, P.C. Bina, P.C. Mini, Manoj Cyriac, Vinod Cyriac.
