Kollam: The forensic report in connection with the property dispute case with his sister Usha Mohandas has come as a relief for Minister KB Ganesh Kumar. Usha's claims that the signatures on the will prepared by their father R. Balakrishna PIllai were forged have been rejected by the forensic report. The report confirms that the signatures on the will are indeed those of Balakrishna Pillai.

Usha had approached the court, alleging that the signature on the will was not that of Balakrishna Pillai. She claimed that during his final years, Pillai’s health was very poor, and at that time, K.B. Ganesh Kumar forged the signature to take away the property. It was the Kottarakkara Munsiff Court which had sent the signatures for forensic examination.

Following the dispute with his sister, Ganesh Kumar was removed from his ministerial position during the first two and a half years of the second Pinarayi government. Since he was the sole MLA of the Kerala Congress (B), Ganesh Kumar had been actively considered for a ministerial role. However, after receiving complaints from his family, he was not considered for the post.
