Faculty accused in Arsho’s complaint of conspiracy faces cyberbullying, police register case

Kochi: The faculty accused in SFI state secretary PM Arsho’s complaint of conspiracy in the mark list row has been allegedly facing cyberbullying. Over the matter, Vinod Kumar, the coordinator of the Archaeology Department at Maharaja’s College, approached the police and officials registered a case.
At first, Kumar approached the Kochi Commissioner. Later the case was transferred to Central Station. The complaint said that he has been receiving death threats through social media and many are circulating posters that portray him in bad light.
The development comes at a time when police have been probing the complaint against Kumar. According to Arsho’s complaint, Kumar is the prime accused, while College Principal VS Joy, KSU state secretary Aloysius Xavier, college student CA Faisal, and Asianet News reporter Akhila Nandakumar are the second, third, fourth and fifth accused in the case.
