EP Jayarajan’s autobiography to be released in June; no legal action against DC Books

Kannur: The controversy over the autobiography of CPM Central Committee member EP Jayarajan comes to an end as the leader said that he is wrapping up the legal proceedings against DC Books. The decision has been taken in the wake of the release of his autobiography by Mathrubhumi Books in June.
During the by-elections in Kerala in 2024 to the Assembly seats Palakkad, Chelakkara and the Lok Sabha seat Wayanad, a news report regarding the upcoming autobiography of EP Jayarajan was circulated in the media, leaving the senior leader and CPM in deep embarrassment, as there were some damaging references to the party. The report stated that an autobiography of EP Jayarajan would come out soon under the title “Kattan Chayayum Parippu Vadayum”. Following this report, DC Books, had released an announcement of the upcoming autobiography through their Facebook page as well.
Though EP Jayarajan had said that he had indeed been working on his autobiography, the leaked portions were not written by him. The whole issue turned out to be a major controversy. Later, Jayarajan initiated legal proceedings against DC Books, Kottayam, in connection with this.
