ED conducts raid in SDPI activist's house at Kottayam

Kottayam: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a raid at the house of an SDPI activist in connection with money laundering activities. The raid took place at the house of Nishad Vadakkemuri, a resident of Vazhoor, by the ED team from Delhi. Nishad was a former divisional secretary of the banned outfit Popular Front of India (PFI).

Earlier, the ED had arrested SDPI national president M.K. Faizi in connection with money laundering. Reports suggest that following the interrogation of Faizi and subsequent investigations, evidence was found indicating his connection with Nishad.
