Buffalo kills elderly owner in Kozhikode

Mavoor (Kozhikode): A septuagenarian met with a tragic end when his buffalo attacked him here. The deceased was identified as Hassainar of Panangodu Kulangara. 

The tragedy struck him when he was bringing the buffalo back from pasture at around 4 pm. The animal, although domesticated, attacked him with its horn. 

The buffalo repeatedly attacked him when he leaned over a wall on the way home. The locals, who managed to take hold of the animal, shifted severely injured Hassainar to the Medical College Hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries on his way to the hospital.
