Decomposed body of unidentified youth found in Kerala home; probe underway

Kottayam (Kerala): A decomposed body of an unidentified youth was found inside a house near Vaikom in Velloor on Thursday. The police estimate the deceased to be a man aged over 30, but his identity is yet to be confirmed.

The body was found around noon in the house, completely naked. The house had been vacant for about two weeks, as the family residing there was staying at their daughter's home. 

There has been no information about their son for the past few days, raising suspicion that the body could be his. However, the police have not confirmed this.

Velloor Police arrived at the scene and have initiated a detailed investigation to identify the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
