Communal social media post on Kalamassery explosion: Complaint lodged against Sandeep Warrier

Kochi: A complaint has been lodged against BJP leader Sandeep Warrier in connection with his Facebook post related to Kalamassery bomb blasts. AIYF state committee has lodged a complaint against Sandeep in the Kalamassery police station for allegedly spreading religious hatred through a social media post.

In the complaint, BJP leader Sandeep Warrier and some others are accused of trying to instigate communal violence in the state. Through the complaint, AIYF members recommended strict action against individuals who are trying to disrupt peace by dubious means. In the complaint, Sandeep was pointed out for demonising Muslims in public.    

A screenshot of the Facebook post of the prominent BJP leader was attached along with the AIYF complaint. The complainants demanded severe punishment for those who are trying to spread hatred on social media in connection with the Kalamassery blasts.
