Police arrest 'Chandrika' finance director PMA Sameer

Kozhikode: Nadakkavu police here on Tuesday arrested the finance director PMA Sameer of 'Chandrika' daily, the mouthpiece of IUML over the complaint of the employees. He was later released on bail.

The staff had complained that the company did not paid the Provident Fund amount since 2017. The case was registered in 2020.

Sameer has agreed to appear whenever called, police said.

Earlier, Enforcement Directorate had questioned Sameer over a financial fraud case.
