Centre expresses concern over rising number of fever cases in Kerala

New Delhi: The Union health ministry has expressed concern over the rising number of dengue, H1N1 cases in Kerala.
Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya expressed concern over the worsening trend in Kerala in a review meeting held for discussing strategies to counter mosquito borne diseases in monsoon season.
The union health minister instructed 22 states including Kerala to adopt precautionary measures to control the spread of monsoon diseases including malaria, dengue fever, chikungunya, and Japanese encephalitis.
