Thiruvananthapuram: A minor fire broke out near the parking area of the Central Railway Station on Monday, officials said, though it was quickly brought under control with no reported injuries or damage.

According to authorities, the fire is believed to have started from a pile of waste near the parking zone, where several two-wheelers were parked nearby. Local witnesses said the flames were first noticed by a staff member at the parking counter, who immediately alerted railway officials.

Fire and rescue services reached the spot shortly after and managed to extinguish the blaze within around 15 minutes, preventing it from spreading further.
