One killed, another injured in car-lorry collision in Kannur

Kannur: One person was killed and another was severely injured in a road accident took place near Yogasala in Kannapuram here. The accident happened on Thursday by 7.30 in the morning.

A goods lorry that was going from Kochi to Mumbai and a car that was going in Kannur direction collided. The car driver died on the spot.

The injured was rushed to a private hospital in Kannur. Kannapuram police, fire force from Kannur and the locals jointly engaged in rescue operation.
