BJP leader Krishnadas alleges ‘love jihad’ if LDF or UDF come to power in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: BJP leader PK Krishnadas on Monday claimed that if either the LDF or UDF come to power in Kerala, they would implement “love jihad.” According to Krishnadas, girls from Hindu and Christian families would be lured into romantic relationships and recruited for anti-national activities.
He alleged that both fronts, if in power, would be effectively controlled by Jamaat-e-Islami and the SDPI, groups he described as Pakistan-aligned and anti-national. The remarks were made during a public meeting in Kattakkada attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Krishnadas used the example to assert that LDF and Congress-led UDF are not two distinct entities but one.
“When fronts led by Marxists and Congress come to power, who will actually control the government? It will be Pakistan-friendly anti-national groups like Jamaat-e-Islami and SDPI. That is why, what will happen next is this: girls from Hindu and Christian households will be romantically lured and recruited under the guise of ‘love jihad’ for anti-national activities in Kerala,” he said.
He further warned, “Kerala voters must think if this should be allowed. A dangerous situation is about to unfold in Kerala: on one side, Jamaat-e-Islami, on the other, SDPI. Both are anti-national, Pakistan-aligned organisations, and the Congress and Marxist parties have allied with and cooperated with these two groups,” Krishnadas added.
