BJP’s new initiative in Kerala: Help desks to bring central schemes closer to people

Thiruvananthapuram: BJP in Kerala announced on Sunday that it would establish help desks in all 14 districts of the state to bring various central government welfare schemes closer to the people.

At a function held at Mararji Bhavan, the BJP headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram, the party's new state president, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, unveiled the logo for the state-level help desk as part of the party's foundation day celebrations.

According to Chandrasekhar’s office, the initiative aims to ensure that eligible beneficiaries can easily access the central schemes.

The help desks will be overseen by C Krishnakumar, the party’s state general secretary, and will be launched at district headquarters across the state. They will also assist people in addressing various concerns related to the central welfare schemes.

Similar help desks are expected to be set up in all 30 organisational districts by the end of this month.

The primary goal of the initiative is to ensure that deserving individuals benefit from the welfare schemes introduced by the Narendra Modi government. Additionally, service-oriented activities will be conducted through this platform.

Chandrasekhar said, "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas (Together with all, development for all) is the vision put forward by PM Modi and the BJP."

"All citizens should benefit from progress, development, and education," he added, stressing the need for accessible employment opportunities for all.

He further noted that a developed India is only possible through a developed Kerala.

During the event, several people from different walks of life were inducted into the BJP by Chandrasekhar. Senior party leaders, including O Rajagopal and V Muraleedharan, also attended the function.
