Crime Branch investigates abortions linked to Rahul Mamkoottathil case

Bengaluru: Two women reportedly underwent abortions in Bengaluru in connection with the Rahul Mamkootathil sexual assault case, according to information gathered by the Crime Branch. The first woman who underwent an abortion, along with the help of a relative, is said to have assisted the second woman in seeking the procedure.
Authorities are still collecting evidence, including additional information from the hospital where the procedures took place. Crime Branch officials are tracking the hospital and gathering further details.
According to reports, no formal complaint has been filed yet, meaning the case cannot currently be registered. Investigators are also looking into why no complaint has been lodged.
