New petitions in court seeking reinvestigation into Balabhaskar’s death
Thiruvananthapuram: Two petitions have been filed at the chief judicial magistrate court here on Tuesday demanding reinvestigation into the death of violinist Balabhaskar. The petitions were filed by Balabhaskar’s father and Soby George.
CBI had conducted a probe into the accident death of the musician and had found that there was nothing unnatural in his death. The reason for the accident was found to be overspeeding.
But the family was not interested in the CBI probe report and has now demanded a reinvestigation.
Soby had earlier recorded witness statement in the incident. But CBI had found that these statement were false and had begun procedures to register case against him.
