Shan murder: 5 suspects in custody, will record arrest soon, says ADGP Vijay Sakhare

Alappuzha: ADGP Vijay Sakhare informed that five more people involved in Shan murder case have been taken into police custody. Their arrests will be recorded today itself, said the ADGP. 

However, the police could not nab the key accused so far. When inquired about the involvement of state leaders in the case, ADGP said that the people who are involved in the planning of the crime will be certainly included in the case and the probe could extend to anyone. 

ADGP assured that strong evidence will be produced against the accused and it will be ensured that they receive the maximum punishment. 

SDPI state secretary KS Shan was murdered last Saturday. He succumbed to death due to severe hack injuries at a private hospital in Ernakulam.
