AI camera fines KSEB jeep Rs 20,000 for carrying pole atop

Wayanad: In a peculiar incident, an AI camera has levied a hefty fine of Rs 20,000 on a Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) vehicle for the transportation of a pole affixed on top of a jeep, intended for the removal of tree branches. 

An additional Rs 500 has been slapped for the driver's failure to wear a seat belt. KSEB authorities have assured the driver that they will assume responsibility for paying the fine, if necessary. 

It is learnt that the matter is currently under discussion between high-ranking officials from KSEB and the Motor Vehicles Department, aiming to find a resolution.
