Kerala ADGP MR Ajith Kumar admits having met RSS general secretary, terms it as ‘private visit’

Thiruvananthapuram: ADGP M R Ajith Kumar admitted to meeting with RSS general secretary, heating up the controversy over several allegations against him. The disclosure came in an explanation given to the Chief Minister's Office. And the explanation is that he went on the invitation of a classmate and that it was a personal visit.
Opposition leader V D Satheesan had made the allegation the day after ADGP met RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabala in Thrissur. The Opposition leader alleged that ADGP was entrusted by the Chief Minister to negotiate with the RSS.
The visit was on May 22, 2023 during the RSS camp at Paramekkavu Vidya Mandir. A report has been received by the Special Branch DGP and the Intelligence Section confirming the meeting.
