Inter-state liquor smuggling: 2 nabbed from Idukki

Kattappana: Two individuals were arrested by the Kattappana Police on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in interstate liquor smuggling.

The detainees are Rajesh (43), a resident of Thiruvananthapuram, and Sharath Lal (32), hailing from Malappuram.

Police seized more than a hundred bottles of foreign liquor from the suspects.

The arrests stemmed from intelligence received by the Idukki District Police chief.
