Disturbing video: Man uses pit bull to attack minor inside auto in Mumbai, laughs as dog attacks

Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a video that surfaced last week showed a man intimidating a minor boy with a pit bull inside an auto-rickshaw, allegedly leading to the dog biting the child.
In the video, the dog owner appears to be enjoying the situation, laughing and making no effort to stop the dog as the horrified child desperately tries to exit the auto-rickshaw.
The dog attacked the minor boy, biting him on the chin and hands, causing serious injuries.
A video of the incident went viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation.
The boy sustained injuries to his chin and hands and was left mentally traumatised by the ordeal.
"On 17th July at around 10:00 PM, the complainant's minor son was playing in a parked rickshaw in the residential area when the accused, Mohammad Sohail Khan -- an acquaintance from the same locality -- deliberately released his brown-coloured pet dog. Due to a lack of control and supervision, the dog bit the child on the chin, causing injury," said Mumbai Police.
According to media reports, the incident happened when a group of children were playing inside an auto-rickshaw in Mankhurd. The situation escalated after the children noticed the Pit bull.

Reports say the dog’s owner, identified as Sohail Khan, then entered the auto with the animal. Alarmed, the children fled in fear, except for one, a boy named Hamza, who was unable to escape in time.
The video shows Sohail allegedly began intimidating the child by bringing the dog closer and laughing, before intentionally unleashing the pit bull on him. In a desperate attempt to escape, Hamza jumped out of the auto and ran.
The boy alleged that no one came up to help him as others were busy filming the incident. According to a media report, a case was registered based on a complaint filed by the victim’s father under sections 291, 125, 125(a) of IPC (BNS) at Mankhurd Police Station.
