Influencer Uorfi Javed has come out in support of Beer Biceps (Ranveer Allahbadia) and Samay Raina amid their ongoing controversy surrounding ‘vulgar content’ on Raina’s YouTube show India’s Got Latent. Known for her bold fashion choices and outspoken opinions, Javed shared her thoughts on the public backlash, defending the two creators from calls for severe punishment.

While acknowledging that the remarks made by Allahbadia on the show were distasteful, Javed expressed disbelief at the demand for extreme consequences, including jail time. “You don’t like certain people, you don’t like the things that they do or say, but demanding for them to go to jail for that? Are you serious?” Javed questioned. She added, “Samay is a friend, I have his back, but even the rest of the people on the panel – what they said was distasteful, yes, but I don’t think they deserve to go to jail for that.”

Additionally, Javed shared her thoughts on entrepreneur Sammar Verma’s criticism of B Praak, who had publicly announced the cancellation of his podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia. Verma had slammed Praak for making the cancellation announcement, stating, “Dude, sure enough, cancel the podcast but why the announcement of the cancellation? Hate how everyone wants to join the bandwagon and become people’s favorite! Sure Ranveer crossed the line but what is even more triggering is when people want to ride the hatred wave and garner love by adding to that hatred.”

Verma suggested that while Ranveer made a mistake, he has apologised, learned from it, and should now be forgiven. “They just like the rest of the lot are humans,” he concluded.

The controversy began after Ranveer Allahbadia made an inappropriate comment on India’s Got Latent, which led to widespread outrage online. Allahbadia later issued a public apology, admitting that his remark was inappropriate. Following the incident, both Allahbadia and Raina were summoned by the police, and investigations are currently underway.
