Tired of frequent recharges? This BSNL plan offers more than a year of validity and 2GB daily data

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is offering 47 additional days of validity on its ₹2,399 prepaid plan as part of an Independence Day special offer.

The limited-period deal began on August 12 and increases the plan’s usual one-year validity from 365 days to 412 days.

The offer is available until September 12, 2026.

BSNL ₹2,399 plan gets 47 extra days

BSNL’s ₹2,399 prepaid plan normally provides 365 days of validity. It includes unlimited voice calls, 2GB data per day and 100 SMS per day.

Under the Independence Day offer, customers who recharge with the plan between August 12 and September 12 will receive an additional 47 days of validity.

This takes the total validity to 412 days, giving users more than a year of service under the same recharge.

The recharge can be made through the BSNL website or the BSNL Selfcare app.

The additional validity is available only during the specified offer period.

₹1 SIM offer for new BSNL connections

BSNL has also introduced a ₹1 SIM card offer under its ‘Freedom 2.0’ scheme.

The offer is available to customers taking a new BSNL connection between August 12 and September 12.

New connections under the offer come with unlimited voice calls, 1GB data per day and 100 SMS per day for 24 days.

Free first month on new fibre broadband

BSNL is also offering a separate benefit to customers taking a new fibre broadband connection.

Under the offer, the first month of service will be free. Customers will then receive a ₹100 monthly discount for the following three months, reducing the monthly charge to ₹399.

From the fifth month onwards, the regular ₹499 monthly tariff will apply.

The fibre broadband offer is part of BSNL’s Independence Day promotional offers running during the specified period.
