India bans 59 mobile applications including Tik Tok

New Delhi: The government of India has banned 59 mobile apps including Tik Tok.

According to the government, the mobile applications are " prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order”.

Several Chinese apps including UC Browser have been included in the list.
