Thiruvananthapuram: The Thiruvananthapuram International Airport has unveiled its winter schedule for 2025, announcing a 22 per cent increase in weekly flight operations compared to the summer schedule earlier this year.

The revised schedule, effective from October 26, 2025, to March 28, 2026, was announced by TRV (Kerala) International Airport Limited, which operates the airport.

According to an official statement, the airport will now handle 732 weekly Air Traffic Movements (ATMs), up from 600 in the summer schedule. The winter schedule also introduces new destinations — Navi Mumbai, Mangaluru, and Trichy — expanding the airport’s connectivity network.

International operations will grow by nine per cent, increasing from 300 to 326 weekly ATMs, while domestic services will see a substantial 35 per cent rise, from 300 to 406 weekly ATMs. The increase in domestic frequency is driven by enhanced connectivity to key metro and regional hubs.

“The new winter schedule reflects Thiruvananthapuram International Airport's growing importance as a preferred gateway to Kerala and beyond. With enhanced connectivity and new routes, we continue to support regional mobility and economic growth,” a TRV airport spokesperson said.

The airport, managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) — a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of the globally diversified Adani Group — continues to strengthen its position as a key aviation hub in South India. PTI
