New Delhi: Startling WhatsApp chats have emerged in the investigation into self-styled godman Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, arrested on charges of sexually exploiting women students, according to recent media reports. The conversations, now in police custody, paint a disturbing picture of manipulation, inappropriate advances, and repeated attempts to solicit young women.

In one of the most troubling exchanges, the 62-year-old Swami – referred to in chats as “Delhi Baba” – is seen allegedly trying to arrange a sexual encounter for a "Dubai Sheikh":

Delhi Baba: "One Dubai Sheikh wants to [have] a sex partner, do you have any nice friend?"

Victim: "Koi nahi hai" (There is no one).

Delhi Baba: "How it's possible?"

Victim: "I don't know."

Delhi Baba: "Your any classmate? Junior?"

This specific conversation has alarmed investigators, suggesting potential trafficking or at least attempts to involve young women in coercive arrangements.

In another series of chats, the godman bombarded one of the women—suspected to be a student from his management institute—with a stream of obsessive, infantilising messages:

Delhi Baba: "Babyyyyy" (7:49 PM)

Delhi Baba: "Baby where are you?" (11:59 PM)

Delhi Baba: "Good Morning Baby" (12:40 PM)

Delhi Baba: "Why are you angry with me?" (12:41 PM)

Delhi Baba: "Good Evening my most beloved baby daughter doll."

In yet another conversation, after a casual greeting from the woman, he continued:

Victim: "Here afternoon sir, happy afternoon. Did you have something sir?"

Delhi Baba: "Doing some disco dance, you want to join me?"

Victim: "Wow sir osm" (seemingly replying out of politeness)

Perhaps most directly, in one exchange, the Swami wrote:

Delhi Baba: "You'll not sleep with me?"

The tone and content of the chats, now being examined by police, suggest a pattern of grooming and emotional coercion. Many of the messages were sent at odd hours—late at night or early in the morning—raising further questions about the extent of his control over the women.

The chats have become key evidence in the case after Chaitanyananda was arrested from a hotel in Agra’s Taj Ganj area following weeks on the run. He is currently in police custody and is expected to be confronted with multiple aides alleged to have assisted in threatening victims and deleting digital evidence.
