SpiceJet online services back to normal after technical glitch

New Delhi: SpiceJet has confirmed that all its online services, including web check-in, payment systems, and manage-booking features, have returned to normal after a temporary technical disruption earlier on Sunday.
In a statement, the airline said that "technical challenges" briefly affected several online functionalities, prompting the activation of manual check-in and boarding processes at airports to ensure smooth passenger handling.
"SpiceJet was experiencing technical challenges on the website, affecting online services including check-in, payment acceptance, manage booking functionalities, etc. As a result, we activated manual check-in and boarding processes across airports. But now the technical glitch has been resolved," the airline said.
SpiceJet added that digital services are now fully operational. "All online services, including check-in, payment acceptance and manage-booking functionalities are functioning normally," the statement read.
The airline’s announcement comes days after an IndiGo flight (6E 930) from Guwahati to Delhi faced a three-hour delay on November 20 due to a technical issue before departure. The airline confirmed that the aircraft underwent inspections while passengers were duly informed about the delay.
