Rahul hails Priyanka's victory; praises his 'family in Wayanad' for placing trust on her

Kozhikode: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed pride that 'his family’ in Wayanad had placed its trust on his sister Priyanka while extending his congratulations to her for emerging victorious in the Wayanad by-election, succeeding him. 

Rahul shared in a post on X that he knows Priyanka will lead Wayanad with courage, compassion and an unwavering sense of dedication to bring progress and prosperity to the region.

Following her victory, Priyanka Gandhi has announced she would be visiting Wayanad within two days. Priyanka secured a victory with a majority of 4,10,931 votes, surpassing the majority Rahul Gandhi achieved in the 2019 and 2024 general elections.
