PV Nidhish appointed INS Kerala regional committee chairman
New Delhi: P V Nidhish, Joint Managing Editor of Mathrubhumi, has been elected Chairman of the Indian Newspaper Society’s (INS) Kerala Regional Committee. The appointment is for the 2026–2027 term. The INS has announced its newly elected office-bearers and regional committee heads following its 666th Executive Committee meeting held at the INS Conference Hall in New Delhi and via video conference.

The Executive Committee elected its core national leadership team for 2026–27.
- President: Karan Rajendra Darda (Lokmat, Lokmat Media Pvt. Ltd)
- Deputy President: Tanmay Maheshwari (Amar Ujala, Amar Ujala Limited)
- Vice President: Harsha Mathew (Vanitha, Malayala Manorama Group)
- Honorary Treasurer: Anant Nath (Grihshobhika, Delhi Press Patra Prakashan Pvt. Ltd)
Advertising and key regional appointments
Under the powers vested by the Executive Committee, INS President Karan Rajendra Darda appointed Hormusji N Cama (Bombay Samachar) as Chairman of the Advertising Committee.
Regional committee chairpersons were also designated across major states to lead regional print media initiatives.
