Mann, 52, had earlier travelled to Sangrur, where he, along with Arvind Kejriwal, paid obeisance at Shri Rankeshwar Mahadev Shiv Mandir on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
Following the temple visit, Mann was scheduled to travel to Fazilka with Kejriwal to offer condolences to the family of Sandeep Gilhotra, the father-in-law of Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, who passed away on Friday.
The two leaders were also due to attend a state-level event in Moga on 16 February as part of the government’s ongoing anti-drug campaign.

This is not the first time Mann has been hospitalised due to health concerns. In September last year, he was admitted to Fortis Hospital for a week after suffering exhaustion and a low heart rate. In 2024, he was also admitted to the Mohali facility for several days following a bacterial infection.
