BRICS Summit: PM Modi’s September 11-13 schedule: Putin, Xi Jinping, Pezeshkian among leaders set to meet PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set for a packed three-day diplomatic schedule, with meetings lined up with several prominent world leaders and senior international figures between September 11 and 13.
The schedule includes separate meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, along with leaders from Africa, Southeast Asia and the Gulf.

Who is meeting PM Modi on September 11?
Modi’s diplomatic engagements on September 11 include three key meetings.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, followed by a meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Modi will also hold a meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the same day.
September 12: Xi Jinping, Anwar Ibrahim and other leaders on Modi’s schedule
The second day of the schedule features a wider set of bilateral meetings.
Modi is scheduled to meet Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
He will also meet Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung.
Another major engagement on September 12 is Modi’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
On the same day, President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to meet Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
September 13: Modi to meet leaders from Africa, Asia
The diplomatic schedule continues on September 13, with Modi set to hold meetings with several heads of state and senior leaders.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Philippines President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa.
Modi is also scheduled to meet Burundi President Evariste Ndayishimiye.
The day includes meetings with two African vice presidents as well. Modi is scheduled to meet Nigeria’s Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima and Uganda’s Vice President Jessica Alupo.
