Phuket (Thailand): More than 100 passengers have been left stranded at Phuket International Airport in Thailand for over 80 hours, with no proper facilities, following an Air India flight delay and cancellation. The situation has caused significant distress, with toddlers among those stuck and passengers missing crucial appointments.

The ordeal began with Flight AI 377, scheduled for departure on November 16, 2024, was first delayed for six hours due to technical issues. Passengers were initially told the delay was due to a technical glitch with the aircraft, but the flight returned to Phuket after being airborne for three hours. The flight was cancelled later.

Airline officials have not yet responded or have provided an explanation on how longer it will take to resolve this issue.

Passengers have taken to social media to voice their frustration and concerns, demanding answers from the airline. The extended wait and insufficient support for those stranded at Phuket Airport have sparked serious questions about the airline's ability to manage unexpected delays effectively.
