Prashant Bhushan wins first P Govinda Pillai National Award

Thiruvananthapuram: Supreme Court advocate Prashant Bhushan has won the first P Govinda Pillai National Award of PG Samskruthi Kendra. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, a sculpture designed by BD Duttan and a certificate. The winner was chosen by a jury committee chaired by MA Baby.

The award ceremony will be held on November 7 at 2 pm at Ayyankali Hall, Thiruvananthapuram. Hindustani singers Abrita Banerjee and V Manuraj will perform a ghazal concert before the function.
