New Delhi: Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren remains in critical condition at a private hospital in New Delhi, a medical source confirmed on Sunday. The 62-year-old Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader was airlifted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals on Saturday from Jamshedpur.

Soren's health deteriorated after he suffered a fall in the washroom at his residence. Doctors in Jamshedpur initially detected blood clotting in his brain, prompting his urgent transfer to the national capital for advanced medical care.

Currently, Ramdas Soren is on life support, with a multidisciplinary team of senior specialists continuously monitoring his condition and providing intensive medical care. Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari also travelled to Delhi to personally oversee his colleague's treatment.
