Former SFI leader and PhD scholar K Vidya, accused of forging documents to secure a guest lecturer post, has approached the Kerala High Court seeking anticipatory bail. She is known to have approached the court a couple of days ago. Read more

Mark list row: FIR against five including TV journalist, opposition terms the act 'anti-democratic'
Kerala Police registered a case against five persons including an Asianet News journalist based on a complaint by SFI state secretary PM Arsho in connection with the mark list controversy. The complaint against the journalist is that she propagated false news through social media and other means. Read more

Centre's Ordinance: Kejriwal sounds warning for states
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday hit out at the Centre over its ordinance on control of services in the national capital, saying Delhi is the first to be "attacked" and similar ordinances will be brought for other states also. Addressing the Aam Aadmi Party's "Maha Rally" at Ramlila Maidan, Kejriwal, who is also the party's national convener, claimed the Centre's ordinance was an insult to the people of Delhi. Read more
