Cockroach Janta Party founder Dipke claims Instagram account hacked amid platform crackdowns

Abhijeet Dipke, the strategist behind the viral Cockroach Janta Party, has reportedly lost access to his personal Instagram account. He claims the profile was hacked and says he is currently unable to regain entry to the platform.
The 30-year-old founder has not been able to log back into his account following the reported breach.
The development comes at a time when Meta has removed the group’s backup Instagram page.
These digital disruptions follow closely after the movement’s main profile on X was blocked in India, after a formal legal demand.
Meta has not issued any official explanation regarding the removal of the backup account or the reported security breach involving Dipke.
Rapid growth of Cockroach Janta Party
Dipke created the movement as a satirical response to recent comments made by a high-ranking judge regarding unemployed individuals.
The group adopted a cockroach as its symbol and quickly gained traction among younger social media users, becoming a viral presence online.
It has reportedly crossed more than 21 million followers.
The movement primarily appeals to Gen-Z users who describe themselves as chronically online or professional ranters.
Despite its large following, the group is now facing a series of technical and legal challenges across multiple social media platforms.
