Leopard attack near Kerala-Tamil Nadu border kills 4-yr-old boy playing outside home

Thrissur/Valparai: A four-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard near the Kerala–Tamil Nadu border. The victim, Saibul, was the son of a plantation worker at the Ayippadi estate in Valparai, Tamil Nadu.

The boy was reportedly playing near his home when the leopard attacked and carried him away. A search was launched after he went missing, during which body parts were discovered.

Saibul’s remains have been shifted to Valparai Taluk Hospital for further examination.
