New Delhi: A brother’s gesture of delivering an authentic Italian pizza to his sister has gone viral on social media, leaving viewers both amused and impressed. The sibling duo became the centre of attention after a video shared by digital creator Prabhkirat Kaur showed her enjoying a pizza flown all the way from Italy.

The pizza was from L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele in Naples, widely regarded as the birthplace of traditional Neapolitan pizza. Famous for its minimal menu and long queues managed through a ticket system, the pizzeria serves just two types of pizzas. The brother, who was on his honeymoon in Italy, picked up one of the iconic pizzas before flying back to India, ensuring it remained intact through two flights.

The clip shows him carrying the pizza home, culminating with his sister enjoying the slice in Delhi. According to her, the pizza remained delicious even after reheating.

The video quickly gained traction online, with users praising the brother’s thoughtfulness. Some jokingly asked where they could find such siblings, while others wondered if the pizza had survived the long journey. The vlogger clarified in the comments that it was perfectly fine.

Comments ranged from humorous to playful. One user quipped, “I brought Tim Hortons chocolate muffins just for my sister. We family members raise the bar so high that we don’t like anyone outside.” Another called him the “Brother International Delivery Boy.” Some expressed concern about the long journey, joking about the number of fasts needed to deserve such a brother.

The viral video also highlighted a question many travellers might have: what food items are permitted on flights? According to aviation regulations, solid cooked foods like pizza are generally allowed on international routes. Certain items, particularly pickles, chutneys, and dairy-based products, may be restricted or allowed only in checked luggage.
