BMC issues notice to Mithun Chakraborty over alleged illegal construction

Mumbai: The Mumbai civic body has issued a notice to actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty over alleged unauthorised construction at a property linked to him in Mumbai.

According to civic officials, certain floors were built without the required permissions. Mithun, however, has denied any wrongdoing, stating that there has been no illegal construction. The matter is currently under review by the municipal authorities.
