BJP reshuffle: M Nagaraja gets Kerala, Anil Antony Nagaland; K Surendran named Puducherry in-charge

New Delhi: Following an extensive organisational reshuffle, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a redistribution of responsibilities for its state and Union Territory in-charges (Prabharis). As part of the changes, Prakash Javadekar has been replaced as the Prabhari for Kerala, with senior leader M Nagaraja taking over the role, supported by M Vengatesan as the co-in-charge (Saha-Prabhari).

Several prominent leaders from Kerala have also been assigned key national responsibilities. BJP national secretary K Surendran has been given charge of Puducherry. Meanwhile, fellow National Secretary Anil Antony has been appointed as the Prabhari for Nagaland alongside additional duties as the co-in-charge for Goa. Former Union Minister George Kurian has been entrusted with the leadership mandate for Lakshadweep.

The reshuffle also sees high-profile appointments across other major states. Former Union Minister Smriti Irani has been named the Prabhari for both Chhattisgarh and Haryana. Senior leader Vinod Tawde will oversee party operations in Uttar Pradesh, while Ram Madhav has been assigned charge of Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand.
