‘Told me to leave his life’: Woman accuses husband of brutal assault in Kottayam

Kottayam, Kerala: A woman has alleged that her husband brutally assaulted her after repeatedly demanding that she “leave his life.”

The incident happened in Kumaranalloor, Kottayam.

The victim, identified as Ramya Mohanan, accused her husband, Jayan, of the attack. She claimed that Jayan had been constantly pressuring her to end their relationship and had assaulted her in a similar manner before.

Ramya reportedly sustained serious injuries, with visible swelling on her face. She has filed a complaint with the police regarding the incident.
