Shocking: Man enters Pune woman's residence posing as delivery agent, rapes her

Pune: Police have registered a case and launched a search for an unidentified man who allegedly raped a 22-year-old woman at her residence in Pune’s Kondhwa area on Wednesday evening after posing as a courier delivery agent.

The shocking incident took place around 7:30 PM when the victim was alone in her flat. Her brother had stepped out, leaving her by herself when the accused rang the doorbell, claiming to be a courier agent. According to police, the man fled after sexually assaulting the women.

The official said there were reports that the man used a spray on the woman before committing the crime, but it was yet to be confirmed.

A probe was on into the incident, the police added. PTI
